The word "Dulcimer" means "Sweet Sound" and it certainly is! The simplicity of its tuning and fretting makes the ideal instrument for anyone who has ever said "I wish I could play, but I'm just not musical."

While the Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer is basically a folk song instrument, almost any type of music can be played with pleasing results. Playing a Dulcimer is a lot of fun for the whole family.
