    Dulcimers are available  both "Hourglass" and "Teardrop" styles. Both are crafted from the finest local and imported timbers.   

        Soundboards. Crafted from 50 year old Red Cedar which gives great tone and good volume.

Sides and Necks. Crafted from Silky Oak.

Backs. Crafted from Bunya Pine, Rosewood or Queensland maple.

Fretboards. Crafted from Mountain Ash or Mackay Cedar.  The scale length is 68.5 cm and the frets are accurately spaced and include a 6 1/2 for added versatility.

The bridge and nut are made from CORIAN, a man made material which is very close to Ivory in performance. Each Dulcimer is supplied with a fabric carry bag and a "Getting Started" manual. We tune our Dulcimers to G-D-DD in the Ionian mode. The G string being 196mhz or G below middle C.
